Turned out it wouldn't be necessary.
Arriving back from her job picking zucchini, Shiemi stepped into the kitchen intending to get a drink of water, but found a tall boy with safety pins in his face standing there cooking.
"Aaahhh..."

And there she was. "...Holy crap I live with a girl?" The punk was a little surprised.

"H-Hi!" she managed to squeak out.

"...Uh, hi. I live here. I'm assuming you do too."

He lounged on his bed, looking through network posts on the Guide when he started to get a whiff of one of his roommates cooking. The scent made Zell realize that he hadn't eaten in a while, and that he was starting to get pretty hungry. He poked his head out of his room to see someone he didn't recognize standing at the stove, but that didn't discourage him in the slightest bit.
"Yo!" Zell greeted with a friendly smile as he left his room, shutting the door behind him. "Whatcha cookin'?"

The guy, he had to admit, looked pretty cool. Nevermind the fact they almost had the same hairstyle. He wasn't much of a narcissist. It was just one obvious detail that caught his attention. "...Whoa... that's pretty intense, man. The tattoo I mean." He motioned to his own face as if to be more clear.

Speaking of faces, that drew Zell's attention towards Arashi's piercings. "Whoa, are those real safety pins in your face?!" This guy had a really coo look, and he seemed to like Zell's tattoo. Though they had only just met, Zell was really starting to get the feeling that they were going to get along pretty well.

He leaned back against the counter, rubbing the back of his neck. "So... uh. Sorry 'bout all the noise." Not from just now, but mostly from before. "Making some extra for whoever wants to eat it."

Ventus was all done with his house arrest, finally, so he had been out exploring and just stretching in a space that was more than 10x11 - or however big their rooms were. He popped into the living space, grinning and his hair a bit damp from sweat from all the exploring. He blinked when he saw Arashi, as if unsure whom he was, then it seemed to click...
"It's Arashi right?" he asked, coming over and holding out his hand. "I'm Ventus, but you can call me Ven."

"I looked you up when you moved in," he laughed it off, trying not to blush either. "What you makin'?"

He gladly took the change of subject. "Noodles. Want some?"
