The Stands motherofthesun July 7 2011, 21:31:13 UTC
Upon approaching the lights, you see the many stands before you. There are many different foods, games, and other various stands to look at. Why not enjoy yourself?

(OOC: If you want your character to have a booth or be at a specific booth, just post in the subject line)

[Don't mind him, he's just going to be hovering around the stands that are selling sweets. Maybe one is selling ice candy...?]

[Candy you say? Candy with a resemblance to ice cream? Yes please.]

Hey, Judas. I didn't know you had a stand.

He actually doesn't have a stand, he's just browsing. Sorry if it wasn;t clear. themaskednoble July 9 2011, 21:05:00 UTC
[Judas tenses a bit at the voice, and he turns quickly to see who it is.]

...Ventus.

[A short, curt greeting. Is that some ice cream he's trying to hide behind his hand?]

Stage - The Story motherofthesun July 7 2011, 21:32:31 UTC
In the center of all the excitement stands a Stage. The children on it are excited, dressed in traditional clothes made by the Art School. Finally, it settles down. Seems like they're are performing a play telling the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi. If you don't know the story, now's a good time to learn it. Of course, listening to a re-telling is always fun. Enjoy it with a friend or two!

(OOC: Summary of the story over here)

[Guess who wouldn't miss this for the world? He's going to sit down and enjoy the performance. Possibly with some food. Wouldn't miss the food for the world either.]

[Shiemi loves the story of Orihime and Hikoboshi, and she wouldn't miss this performance for anything. Her attention fixated on the stage, she became thoroughly engrossed in the story... to the point she flailed at one point and almost hit the person next to her. Not that she actually noticed.]

[Japan is also quite absorbed, but it is a bit difficult to ignore when someone gets so close, so suddenly. Instinctively, he reaches out to steady the person sitting next to him. And promptly becomes rather flustered for having interrupted, of course.] My apologies...!

Stage - Open Performances motherofthesun July 7 2011, 21:38:57 UTC
About an hour after the Play, the Stage has been cleared and arranged with various instruments. It seems like anyone is free to entertain the crowd if they want. Just mind yourself; there are children here.

(OOC: Of course there are speakers and music players.)

[Remilia can't help but enjoy the music. The fox preforms well.]

[And the children, too. She guesses. For children.]

Bamboo and Wishes motherofthesun July 7 2011, 21:41:00 UTC
The bamboo stands tall, swaying in a small, artificial breeze. A few wishes already dangle on the branches. There is a table with slips of paper and pens. Will you be adding your wish with the others?

[stands curiously and wonders aloud]

So what exactly is the prerogative here?

They're called tanzaku. The wishes fit in with the story if you know it...

[Have a wolf sitting next to you suddenly.]

[have a surprised look; just when one thinks desensitization to this would have set in by now...]

I fear I'm not familiar. I think I arrived to these festivities a bit late.

[overtime at work and all]

Stargazing motherofthesun July 7 2011, 21:41:30 UTC
Time to get away from the lights and noise and just stare up at the stars. Sure, you can see them outside the ship every day, but seeing it like you're home again is different.

[Stargazing like this is definitely different from regular stargazing out of the ship's portholes. It's almost like he's back at home.]
