Lacking time for a stroll was no longer an issue. That lack had been replaced with other deficits: no dukedom, no political campaign to ponder, no Earth Sphere. Had she even considered it home? Hm...likely not. Home meant a place one wanted to return to. Considering the chaos her life had been there, this was a welcome respite ( ... )

He noticed the young woman the instant she fell into step with him, not minding the company at all, however brief it may turn out to be. That was one thing you picked up when you wandered for the better part of ten years -- talking casually to strangers like they were old friends was something you just started to do. Well, in Kenshin's case, certainly. They stood at the same eye level, and while he was probably quite short for a man by her standards, she was quite tall for a woman by his. So when he glanced at her, he had no trouble looking into the blue hue of her eyes ( ... )

"Comparable to how the atmosphere in a colony is maintained, she mused aloud.

Hm...he was unfamiliar with even the notion of filters? The past few days had been spent observing the ship's inhabitants in silence, looking over posts to the network and getting a feel for the Thor in general. Time and space seemed to bend here. Wormholes took people from different worlds or, sometimes, the same world but at a different point in history.

This man might be a case of the latter. Perhaps the past of an alternative Earth Sphere.

In any case, did it really matter?

"The air does seem lifeless but it still has the ability to bring life."

A snort.

"If one can call this life..."

"Hm... or to sustain life, really," he responded without much thought, seemingly, with a small upturn at the corner of his lips. She seemed like royalty, almost, or she certainly acted like someone important, if his judgment was correct.

Though her second comment made him think a little bit. Could this really be called life? Well, of course... they were alive and well, despite being told that their worlds were gone -- destroyed -- kaput. But their lives were turned upside down, and they were thrown into unfamiliar terrirory -- unfamiliar for him, at the very least.

"Perhaps it's what you make of it, no?"

On his journey, that similiar always wandering journey he may come across a pile of blond hair that seems to lead somewhere. He is free to ignore such a strange thing, who knows maybe it's a freaky space monster. But if he does manage to work up the courage to check it out he'll see a girl connected to the end of this trail sitting in a window that looks out into space.

She sighs softly as she seems to be off in her own little world. Rapunzel stares at the twinkling stars, at the world below them that they are currently docked at and just stays like that. It's hard to tell if she's enjoying herself or moping in the window.

In his daze of walking, Kenshin made certain acquaintance with her hair -- actually, he had the pleasure of tripping over it and landing on his face. Once he managed to gather his bearings from the trip (fairly quickly!) he glanced back over his shoulder at what he had tripped over... and blinked. It looked like hair, and when touched, it felt like hair. But... who could manage to grow it out to be so long ( ... )

She snapped her head around at the sudden voice. She knew that she hadn't heard that voice before, and it made her a little jumpy. Not that she wasn't always a little jumpy, that's just how she was. After getting a good look at this mysterious man she slowly let her guard down and waved sheepishly at him. The way he looked at her, she couldn't feel any ill intentions?

" Me? Oh No I'm not upset, I promise! I was just.. sort of thinking I guess," she said scratching the back of her neck.

Hopefully, if he gave off any particular vibe, it was simplicity. Or derpiness. He smiled a bit, giving a small nod before glancing past her and looking out the window himself. This was... probably the first time he had looked out a window, here. For one reason or another, he had never done it, perhaps because part of him really didn't want this to be true. Could he be blamed, really? To learn that your entire world has been torn out from beneath your feet in just a moment with no notice with only the clothes on your back... it was hard to imagine anyone who would be okay with it.

"The sight out there does make you ponder things, doesn't it?" he said after a moment of studying the stars, and then looking back to the girl.

"It's one of those sights this one never believed he would see. Never imagined, would be more accurate, truthfully."

Ezio had been exploring as well. Such a ship or a place was not existent in Roma, not even the temple of Minerva was quite this grand. Like Himura, no one seemed to bother him about his armor or hooded garb. Ezio walked silently as well, slipping between people.

He arrived to the gardens and what a wonder they were. Ezio had never seen such plants or flowers and so many all at once! Leonardo would like this, he concluded. He approached one of the flowers but held his distance.

Hm... Kenshin turned a few corners, and peeked down some hallways, before arriving at what seemed to be some gardens. He had been told before that there were several parks and gardens on this ship, and while he had seen one of the parks before, he hadn't come across any of the gardens until now.

It was a peaceful sight, quiet, the sort of place you went to think. He had been to gardens back home, of course, but they were always very Japanese -- naturally so, as that's where he hailed from, and it was sort of refreshing to see a different style.

From the corner of his eye, Ezio sees the man who arrived some minutes after he did. The first thing he noticed was his clothing, the second his weapon. It was not the kind seen in Roma, but he knew well enough to know it was a sword. But he seemed no threat to him or anyone.

He approached the man silently. "That is an interesting weapon you possess."

Akito is running with his groceries on his hands, he needs to hush up or he will be late for his other personality work.

Which makes him kind of not see the samurai walking calmly.

"Ahh!" crashes against Kenshin's back.

Kenshin, being lost in his own thoughts and observing the little things as he passed by, didn't hear as Akito made his way down the hallway -- not totally uncommon, as Kenshin often went off into his own thoughts -- but he was certainly jolted out of them when he was crashed into.

"O-Oro!"

He flailed a bit before catching himself, somehow managing to avoid falling right on his face, and turning to see what the hell had just plowed into him.

"Aa, are you okay?"

[Akito massages his head] Ouch... [The voice reminds him that he just went against someone]

Oh! So sorry! I wasn't looking! [Bows his head as the good Japanese boy he is]

Currently, Aya was practicing his sword techniques out in a reclusive area of the garden. A dojo type of place felt too confining, too unrealistic, and the artificial sunlight here was far better than being truly inside. There were invisible enemies he attacked, mostly former foes who just didn't know how to stay dead. It was fine for him, really.

All of his focus was on how his sword slashed across his 'enemy', how he rolled and dodged attacks that never came. If someone where to approach him, he would notice at the last second. Not the smartest thing to do, though, if coming up close.

Kenshin had found himself making his way to a garden -- ah, great! He was fairly fond of gardens and gardening himself, and he had heard that there were a few gardens here on the Thor. Parks, too! Despite being on a ship in space, these places made things a little more bearable -- they were more real and far more like what he was used to back home in Japan.

He made his way in and walked around, peering at the various flowers. Some he knew of, some were new to him. Of course they would have alien flowers, too -- things he never would have thought he would see in his lifetime.

But that familiar sound of a blade cutting air rang, and he turned, making his way over in that direction, curious. He knew it wouldn't be wise to approach, being a swordsman himself, so he kept a respectable distance and watched. He was rather fond of watching others train, too, for whatever reason.

Upon turning after a roll, Aya spotted a lone spectator not too far away. He stood, catching his breath silently and still holding his blade. Never one privy to new faces, Aya kept his face neutral, on the offense.

"Are you lost?" He hoped so, so this person can find wherever they need to be so he could return to his practice. He took note that the other carried a sword as well.
