World Reunion

Who: OPEN TO ALL COUNTRIES AND OUR FRIENDS
What: A reunion has been organized for all the countries to see each other while they can! (Also, Canada has been told to introduce his girlfriend to them. >.>)
When: April 28, evening
Where: Class Act (thank you, Maraich!)
Warnings: Some of the countries are kinda crazy.

[Well...the setting could use a little...help, but it would have to do on short notice. France could be a degree (or several--enough to not remark upon it, anyway) more forgiving, especially now that all his love of finery and extravagance seemed to only promote the evils of the bourgeoisie; he'd take what he could get. And the idea of this meeting, at the very least, seemed to make Canada happy enough.

Of course, he couldn't let an international reunion happen right under his nose and not at least make the attempt to grace it with his presence. But he won't be the one to make the first move. Oh no. He's enjoying taking it all in far too much to raise the tension so quickly. The natural state of affairs is by far the most beautiful.]

[ Jasmine's looking around, keeping close to Canada's side. She knows that she's going to be introduced to some countries, but... ]

U-um... wh-who are we looking for, Canada...?

Ah, well... France. [Turning from looking at the crowd to look at her, he figured he ought to explain a little. Especially seeing as her world wasn't the same as his.]

He's, well, he's like... my father. It's a bit complicated, but him and England raised America and I when we were little. B-but France and England fight a lot, so best not to mention him.
A-anyways, he's very... um, upper-class, not from the modern time that I am, blond, about this tall [he sticks out his hand a bit taller than his height]. He's probably dressed kinda extravagantly too.

[Taking a deep breath he sighs and smiles at her.]

Sorry. I- I'm a bit nervous, but I'm sure that you'll both get along well.
[He's just going to introduce his girlfriend to his father. Nothing that every generation of guys hasn't been nervous over before~]

[ Jasmine nods along as he describes him to her, continuing to look around. Blond, tall, nicely dressed... She's seen a few people who could fit that description, but she wasn't positive if it was France or not. It didn't help that she was on the short end so it made looking around a little bit more difficult, but...

She squeezes his hand a little tighter in reassurance, offering him a smile. ]

Th-there's no need to be nervous! I should be the nervous one, not you...

[ Jasmine is nervous as well, though surprisingly not as much so as Canada seemed to be. She's met some of the countries before and everything was fine there, so this hopefully isn't a huge deal and simply something she is freaking out about a little too much!

... She can only hope that's the case and keep a bright smile on her face. First impressions are critical, after all! And she can't help but feel a little out of place because hey, she's not even a country! ... just dating one. ]

[ Whitney, considered yourself spotted! Jasmine tugs on Canada's hand a few times before heading toward Whitney. If she has to drag him there, so be it! ]

[Canada will happily follow Jasmine anywhere! Only mildly curious as to where he is being taken, he can only think to ask,]

[Italy, on the other hand, is having the time of his life!]

[He peeks out of the kitchen, taking a little peek at Canada and Jasmine, and marveling at just how cute and perfect the two were together. Italy also couldn't help but feel a surge of pride at the fact that he had a bit of a hand in their getting together-- no matter how messy]

[So he waits until he can catch Canada's eye before giving him a thumbs up!]

[At Italy's thumbs-up, Canada blushes and gives a little wave in return.
Excusing himself from Jasmine for a moment, he walks over to join Italy by the kitchen.]

Hi, Italy! Is it going all right? You r-really shouldn't be in the kitchen tonight, though...

[Maraich had a few small decorations out, but he kept things at the restaurant simple, bright and elegant. Even though Canada had his friends over he was running the service pretty much like normal. He couldn't always be on vacation, after all!

During service he took a break to visit. Canada had someone that was "like his father" after all, and Maraich should take some time to meet him. But he didn't know who that was, so he approached Canada first]

Canada. How are things going?

[Smiling at Maraich, Canada gives him a tentative wave.]

Good evening. Th-things are going really well, I think! Everyone seems happy?
And thank you again for letting us meet here.

It's no problem. So, where is this father of yours?

[Maraich was curious what he was like]

Um... [France is easily spotted by Canada. So he gestures over that way, and tries to catch France's eye.]
He's there. Blond hair, and kinda extravagantly dressed?

[Rikku'd been meaning to come to Class Act! Maraich had given her a free-dinner token she needed to cash in. Could there be a more perfect time for her to scope the place out than now? She thinks not.]

[So, Rikku's doing just that and twiddling around the floor, trying really hard not to look like she's nose-diving it to the buffet table. She totally is, by the way, but it's the effort that counts.]

[Man oh man, where there so many people here. They all looked normal enough... but still, that didn't stop Rikku from feeling the obviously-important vibe circulating. Canada invited her, though, so it can't be too much of a serious affair, or else he wouldn't have let in an outsider.]

[For a meeting of nations, the air often erred on the side of importance. (But, unfortunately, not always seriousness.)

Seeing Rikku enjoying the food, he comes over to greet her - a first meeting in person.]

H-hello, Rikku. I'm so glad that you could come!

[Rikku spun around, being sure to swallow the giant wad of god-knows-what deliciousness before attempting any actual sentences vocally.] Ah, Canada, hey! I'm super glad you invited me; everyone's having such fun. Were you the master behind this meet-up?

[Oh gosh yay, but he loves how people can notice him properly right away.]
