Well the bad news is that the first successful occurrence of a blatant tout trying to flog glastonbury tickets has occurred. Yes that was too many uses of the same word within the once sentence but I'm not feeling particularly eloquent today, reet?

The good news is, when he tried to flog a pair of tickets on a "Buy It Now" auction for £1000, ( Read more... )

A mammal, I think.

Also I love that when he tried to sell the 2 tickets before they went on sale he said he had them in hand, but in this auction he's accusing people of being lazy and not getting out of bed to get them themselves, when HE got them on a dial-up connection.

Er, something's a bit wrong there....

I bet if he'd just taken the time to spellcheck he'd have made a whole load MORE cash!

I honestly don't think anyone is stupid enough to pay £900 for a pair of tickets to Glastonbury. I honestly honestly don't.

Incidently I can get into seetickets too but when it comes to the last payment bit it comes up with errors. i'd tell you to test it but you'd probably end up with 2 tickets you didn't want to something.

I paid 400 in 2003. I said to myself that going to Glastonbury was worth up to 200 quid. Plus I'd just been made redundant so I had the money.

I've been to Glastonbury 3 times in the past and although it's a lovely thing to do, I think it's completely over-hyped. But then I guess, something is only worth what people are willing to pay for it, so if people want to pay lots and lots of money, then it's not really hurting anyone.
