ME AGAIN. I HAVE NO LIFE SO I POST ON HERE IN CAPS.
Alright. Quick update. Some stuff happened.
Friday was a blast. Not nearly as awkward as it could have been, and then Katia came to our rescue. Sorry I didn't seem more concerned about your car Sheryl, but when you're buzzed, and the first thing someone says to you is "I killed my baby", things kind of get a little lost in translation.
Saturday I woke up with a nasty ass cold, which I am still fighting. I kept popping allergy pills and hoping I was just hungover, even though I didn't drink that much... and when I passed out on the couch at 8:15 I realized I had been lying to myself, and really was horribly ill.
Monday was an exam.. sick exams are not fun.
However, sick CONCERTS are a blast.Namely, 4th row to gunner's concerts. Skid Row was decent, GnR kicked ass, and I finally found a practical use for my man shoulders. Thats right guys, I'm one of the few women who isn't 400lbs and who can hold her own in a mosh pit.
Tuesday was anthro. That was hell. I was so, so sick I couldn't even BS some answers up. You know Corinne is sick when she can't BS.
Anyways, for some reason Lisa and I went back to Glenlawn to see the play. We giggled, because it was... okay. Not great, not bad, but decent. The techies are all little gr. 10 guys again, and Mr. Young. I laughed, shed a little tear over the fact they cleaned my booth. Yes all, /my/ booth. Hahaha. (oh whatever, I was discussing it with Buchi, she agreed)
Then Lisa and I went to go and say Hi to Mr Young, who was doing sound. A few moments before we had seen a streak down the bleachers that looked like Jeff, but I shrugged it off, citing my illness. Turns out, it was. Mr Young has a hearty chuckle, and we all head backstage to harass Jeff, just like the old days.
Like I said, the convo could have either been very good, or very awkward, and it turns out to be very good. I guess he was just glad someone else was there that knew him... we had a few laughs (one of the lil gr 10'ers broke his ankle trying to shimmy down the seats) and I cited him for being a corrupter of youth and work ethic. I miss the theatre days, and all the drama that ensued. Turns out my bro knows more than half the school (shocker) and all the little gr. 10's figured if they talked to me it would be an automatic in with my bro?
Jeff and I were both like "Uh... you leave now. We're discussing things"
good ttimes. more coming soon.
