thanks to gina, we've seen a few movies recently.
superman - decent effects, blah plot, good acting (especially spacey). beats you over the head with foreshadiowing. very enjoyable action though. it was sure worth the trip. john williams did the score - good stuff.
pirates 2 - good but not living up to the hype. sequels rarely do. tis ok. depp was great. they put a lot of stock into character development - NOT NEEDED! o well. the money they spent shows on the screen - visually stunning. worth seeing at least once in the theatre.
