(no subject)
today has been such a rollercoaster.
so insane.
okay to start off..
this morning was pretty laid back...
we had a mandatory 'discussion' thing about 'making "choices" '. and our whole group which was like half or more of our housing group bonded so much. and then we all went to lunch together. there was a ton of us. i love these girls.
and then amelia and i go to patty's bookstore to pick up my books because i had/have homework due tomorrow that i need a book for.
so on our way out we didn't see the curb. and both tripped. well i apparently tripped way worse than amelia.
i broke my foot.
we didn't think it was broken at the time.
but it hurt like hell!
we walked about half a block before patty drove by in her little electric car saying she saw me hobbling down the street so she gave us a ride back to my dorm.
my foot looked swollen already by then.
so amelia helps me hobble up four flights of stairs (because dobson doesn't have a fucking elevator!!) and i walk in my room and plop in the closest chair and tell alex that i think i broke my foot. we freak out. she runs down the hall to get our SA emily. emily comes and looks at it and we all freak out and decide to take me to the ER.
amelia, thank god for her, drives me to the hospital in my car and i call my brother at home telling him what happened and telling him to call one of our parentals.
my mom meets us at the hospital. and i get an x-ray. and after a long wait i apparently broke the 5th metatarsal in my left foot. they put a huge ass walking cast and let me go.
my mom ran back home to get me crutches.
amelia drove me back to my dorm and helped me hobble back up the four fucking flights of stairs again. and my moms brings by my crutches, vicadin (which i'm currently on, and it's fucking hard to type like this) and pizza.
so alex, jean, megan and i sit in the lounge eating pizza and filling out our rommate cooperation forms about if something happens between you and your roommate then how you would solve the problems kind of thing.
i have an appoint ment for my foot tomorrow at 11.
it's fucking gross. let me just tell you.
it hurts.
i sleep on the top bunk.
i hobble.
i'm zoning out.
and tonight was the fucking dance party.
and alex and i were the ones that hosted it.
the day of our own damn dance party i break my f-ing foot.
well it sucked at first.
but then it picked up.
and it was pretty cool.
haha. alex and i had been holding this guy, thomas, football for ransom.
now he has to have a movie night with us.
hehe.
we're so sneaky.
i need a shower.
this is going to suck to try and shower with a broken foot.
i'm so tired.
i love college.
i love vicadin.
i hate broken feet.

that's about the extent of my day.
