Allow me to put down some facts first. These creatures are drawn to us and thus can be lured by us. They travel in packs. They do not have human intelligence and they are slow. Am I correct?

I got the theory already on account of the fact that I'm fighting 'em. Just lay down your ideas.

Excellent. You will need a relatively thin and flexible branch of the Tree - one that can hold the weight of a great number of people, but may be severed at the base with minimal work - a weapon or tool to severe it with, and a brave soldier who is a very fast runner. I am currently in communication with your air support.

You'd better tell me what the end result you think will happen before I do any of that.

Have your runner break from behind the barricade and get the zombies' attention, leading them up the thin branch. When as many are on it as possible, severe the branch at the base. I am arranging to have Above-nushi remove the runner by air before the branch falls. It will be a brief time before I can give you a guarantee, but if you think the plan is sound, you had better start preparing.

Ahahah and Stony's totally just like "OKAY GET TO THE POINT MAN" stonyfaced December 5 2010, 18:49:18 UTC
Sounds dangerous, but effective. Only one problem: when you try to break the tree, bad things happen. I don't recommend it. We have enough to deal with without a treebranch deciding to spear one of our men.

You are better equipped than I to estimate which is the greater danger. Still: it will be easier to fend them off if their backs are to the open air. If only I had the means to call up a wind...

Let's just say we don't need to be attacked on two fronts. For now, we'll have to make do with good old-fashioned weapons. If you have anymore clever ideas, let someone know and I'm sure we can put one into practice.

Understood. I shall do my best. A final thought: Is the Tree equally resentful of the destruction of houses?

No. It destroys our homes itself most of the time. What're you thinking?
