Still here!

I'm lurking more than posting, because...there's not much to say. I mean, I ALWAYS have something to say, but nothing that interests folks.

Random bullet points!
  • I am so in love with True Detective, I can't even. I haven't seen last night's episode, because of Walking Dead reasons, but that's on deck for later
  • enjoying this back half of Teen ( Read more... )

Of course for a moment there, I thought you meant an actual vacuum, and was all, "guuuuuurl, why?"

It's nice to know that some people change. I don't have any friends from high school except my brother and he hasn't changed a bit. He's still that douchey popular guy who should be selling cars! His kids are great, though.

I have nothing interesting to say either. It's cold, we're having self invited house guests (three sets over the next month and a half), I'm cranky about having to cook and clean for aforementioned self invited house guest. Oh, well, that's what we get for living some place people want to visit.

I've been hearing great things about TW this season. It's great it's making everybody so gleeful.

I'm four behind on TWD. The mister keeps waffling about being over it and I'm waiting until he makes up his mind. Fortunately, there are lots of lovely athletes taking up my TV time for the next couple weeks. We love us some hockey and curling is always fun :D

I didn't keep any friends from high school, but reconnected with people who I'd liked, but hadn't been close to, and now that we're adults, YAY! And some of the douchey guys from school got douchier. =/

it's SO COLD. And I'm so sorry that you're having to work and all of that while cranky. I know those feels, and you have my sympathy and virtual hugs.

I personally think TWD has been its best this season, but I don't think everyone agrees, lol. SO MANY GAMES FOR YOU TO BE WATCHING RIGHT NOW!!

I AM JUST WAITING for a vital, super-vital, like omg rly important academic thing that definitely requires me to use Texas research libraries/hang out at yrs, lie in your pool, look incredibly short next to your children, get you drinking tea the English way, EAT PROPER TACOS &c &c &c.

BTW, do you remember that discussion we had about what a bloke would have called the girl he was trying to court? I thought the other day that he might report having asked her to be his sweetheart (this is based on Teddy in Alcott's Jo's Boys using that phrase) but he probably wouldn't use that phrase to others (esp men?). I know it's probs way too late and/or muddying the waters, but it came to me!

YES YES YOU MAY BE MY HOUSE GUEST AS LONG AS YOU'D LIKE, I WOULD LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Oh, Sophie, that would be SO GREAT. <3

Oh, no, that's wonderful! I'm just about finished with the story, but that means my first full draft. I'll have to go back and pick at it from the start to make sure I've pulled all the threads tight, so having vernacular in my head whilst doing so is a great help. <3
