Oh, god, I LOVE this. Ginsberg! Pete Townsend! The Ramones! PRINCE! *dies* One of the great things about Spike and Dru is that you *know* they did their damndest to be in on the latest scene. There is no doubt in my mind that they could have inspired all these folks, and more besides.

Plus, he had a penchant for punching people's faces with his bass guitar, which Spike found endearing.

Hahahahahaha.

remembering how all the others had just believed in what they did, their words and the way to say them.

Oh, Spike. *bursts into tears*

Thanks so much for writing this piece. It's a great contribution to this ficathon. *hugs*

YAYAYAYAY!! I'm so glad you like it, hurrah! (And seriously. Spike TOTALLY would have tried to hang with all of them, right? *G*)

Thanks for including me once again in this ficathon. I've written some of my favorite things as a result. *LOVES*

I'm happy to know you thought it sounded like him (and me, haha.) Thanks, Kita, and you know, I would offer to hold you up, but you seem to be standing on your own two so well, so...

*holds out an arm* A lean? :)

Love the changes! This was fun!

Also, it was Minneapolis, and of all the places to be in the world, that wasn't on the list. *snerk*

This is fantastic!

He would never admit that Joey's hair reminded him of a long-gone family member.

I will never see Joey the same way again!! Brilliant.

Lovely walk through time with this. And the punk days only wish they had Spike! Hee

Spike had to explain to her carefully - she was thirsty at the time - that they wouldn’t be able to fit one inside the other like matryoshka nesting dolls.

There always something about Spike & Dru that was just so...sinisterly appealing and endearing. You did an excellant job of reminding me that, with this fic.

I'll confess I didn't get most of the references (well, despite the obvious ones) but it didn't matter. I could definitely see it anyway, them flitting about, trying to cling to "the scene".
And it would be like Spike to stay near poets, to still be into them after all this time. Love you worked it into his open mike performance in the last episode.

Love this. Great, great, great job with it. There really isn't enough good writing going on for this particular niche in that universe.

Oooh, yay for liking the nesting dolls bit. :) It all came about because of that final open mike performance, so I'm so pleased you felt it worked over all!

THANK YOU so much. *hugs*
