I loved this. I love how there was so much about power and fear of intimacy and Buffy and control in every moment, but it was rarely explicitly expressed. Loved both voices, loved the hotness.

And love a world, too, in which there's a warning for het. You tick my tock, chica.

For me, with Faith it's almost always about Buffy - but unspoken. She'd NEVER admit it. Okay, she would, but only if she could use those words as a weapon.

And if I had a nickel for every time someone - that was straight, mind - made an ewwwww face for het on my journal... I'd have enough for a cheap cup of coffee. :D

I love slash, I do, but I still think het is hotter most times. Just the way I'm built. I just find it amusing how many people on one side of the fence are all "ewww het" and on the other side "ewww slash".

Well, seeing as I'm straight, and love sex, and love the female form, I'm all for het. :D And two guys going at it really works for me, too, but it's not just because of two pretty bodies being smooshed together. Um... porn is good. :D

I did read it, and I need to re-read it and get it in better. It's interesting, I was having an online convo over in the "anon concrit" post thingy, where I was totally not anonymous because *shrugs* I'll tell you what I think. Er... I was over there talking with Dodyskin about her writing, and she complains about not doing "proper plotty fics." your writing? It's like her ability to paint completely unique images with words, and then you have a plot with it, too.

Yeah, the anon concrit thingy. If I concrit someone's fic I want to actually be able to discuss it. I want to do another thing like peasant_ did with her concritathon.
