I'm sitting in bed watching Bevis and Butthead do America and i get a text message from Kerry telling me about Dimebag. I admittingly started crying.I called Grifty and told him the news. I stayed up all night crying and still havent slept. Pantera to me is what KISS is to "the KISS ARMY" or Metallica is to others, very influential and a big part of my life. Dime was a legend and a hellava good guy. He is the composer of such classics as Walk, Cowboys From Hell, Becoming, and much more. So influential, a member of a band that never sold out.
WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE? YOU DO SOMETHING NICE FOR THEM LIKE PUTTING A SHOW ON AND ALL OF A SUDDEN YOUR LIFE IS ON THE LINE? THAT MOTHERFUCKER IS LUCKY THE COPS TOOK HIM OUT BEFORE A WHOLE LEGION OF PANTERA FANS DID. MAY HE ROT IN THE FIREIEST PIT IN HELL WITH A DAGGER IN HIS THROAT.
The world in which we live is a lot more fucked up and a lot sicker than i ever imagined.
R.I.P. Dimebag. Thanks for the music and memories you have given us in Pantera and Damageplan. You will never be forgotten and live in our hearts forever.
