the first snow
yesterday, when i went outside in the morning, it was snowing. the first snow of the year. not a lot... and nothin on the ground, but just enough to say thats what it was. it snowed. its winter.
hat trick the other day in hockey. damn im good.
hit me tonight as i was watchin t.v... doin nothin. two days till i go to canada. i guess i can start my hours countdown now... but its kinda messed cause of time changes. anyways... 35 hours or so till i leave the airport here. sweet.
last night we had a nabe party. the nabe thing is kinda cool.... like a big stew, really popular in winter here, but it was fish nabe, so that kinda sucks. i invited a dude from my hockey team and one of the japanese staff here, and sorta set them up at the party. they hit it off pretty well... but they didnt exchange digits. however, he called me tonight and said thank you, not sure if thats a japanese custom or not, but then said he wanted to go out next time as well. hehe... i told him if it works out, he had to pay me ten thousand yen... i`m not sure if he thought i was serious or not.
the nabe wasnt great, but the beer was good. i had a hangover today though, i`ve been gettin off real lucky lately, and it caught up with me today. i gonna go to bed soon, 10:30ish... thats gotta be a first in about 10 years.... prolly round the last time i got four goals in a game.
email from mclusk the other day. says he`s quittin his job and movin to japan. i dont think japan is ready for him.
