In the hopes that my SeaTac friends can see this...
I know it's quite a ways out, almost a year in fact, but I'd like to get the ball rolling on this early. By the beginning of next summer, I should be only one class away from attaining my Bachelor's degree. I have no intention of staying in TN for the rest of my life... I'm surrounded by ignorant, close-minded rednecks and chlorophyll-fueled allergen-factories. I'm hoping to find a paid internship that might morph into a job... specifically, an internship in the Seattle-Tacoma area. I'm going to look into getting that last class as an online/RODP class but, if I can't, I can always come back to TN for that last semester and then move the whole part and parcel up to Washington when I'm done.
I made a comment in one of my previous posts about needing a light on the horizon. This is that light for the moment. I hope you guys can see this, and maybe you know a guy who knows a guy who knows a company that might have an internship available next summer.
Oh, and because you need to know what kind of internship to look for, I'm a Computer Information Systems major with a Business Administration minor. I'd love to get into something that involves data-basing and/or transportation & logistics. If anybody thinks they might have a lead, I can email a resume out.
