Snow before my birthday is a good omen, if I remember right.
But the past 2 months have not been full of good omens.
At the end of Sept I was fired. Unceremoniously, with no more empathy put into it than when a peron throws away a credit card offer they aren't interested in. I felt rather unwanted, unappreciated, and unfairly fired. 2 Strikes, you're out, thanks for leaving without much fuss.
I was unemployed an entire 2 days.
Now I have work at a very nice clinic. What was going to be an on call job now works like a nearly full time job. For the moment, it works well. The only drawback is the 30 mile commute there, and the 30 mile commute back. But the coworkers are nice, the hours are good, the majority of the patients want to get better and are highly motivated. Had I known what a good place it was, I would have taken a job there 4 years ago when I was offered it.
My life as a journeymen PT... it's not so bad.
