Long time pour moi
So yesterday (Nov. 7) was the one year anniversary of the first date Amanda and I had. We were going to go to the beach, but turns out the thirty minute drive without gas (or gas money) is hard as shit to pull off.
If anyone is looking for an outstanding film to go see, I way way way highly suggest Capote. Phillip Seymour Hoffman (kickass!!!!) plays Truman Capote, and he does an excellent job. He better at least get nominated. But I lost confidence in award shows' abilities to pick the best winners a long time ago : (
Anyway, the movie is about Capote's experience over the 6 years it took him to write the non-fiction novel 'In Cold Blood,' which is a captivating book, by the way.
Also, interesting sidenote..my sister in law vanessa's brother in law Mike is dear friends with Phillip Seymour Hoffman! They grew up together and are still close contacts. I've been to Mike's house for cookouts, man, why could I not know of this sooner? Haha.
Anyway, If I'm going to fit a cigarette in before class, I gotta get going. Bye lovers.
