Fever Challenge Masterlist
This is just for record's sake to keep reminding me to write write write and the rules.
You don't have to read this, through if you have something to say please read my 'Please Read' otherwise, you can skip straight to the fic. Enjoy! (:
Intro/Where it originated
This is a challenge my best friend set me a while back, one I completely forgot about till now, half a year later.
Basically, I’m going to write one fic for each song off 'A Fever You Can't Sweat Out,' including the Introduction and Intermission (though those will be written after Build God... because I want them to be prequels of some sort) and each has to be longer than 3,000 words (since that’s about all I can do) and related to the song itself. And it’s Brendon/Ryan, Ryan/Keltie, Ryan/Multiple :D Each chapter will have a separate title.
I guess I could call this the Fever-verse? Except it's not really an au. idk, if you have any ideas, let me know (:
When/How long
I have to do this in less than a year, so that would be relitavely easy, about one fic a month.
It will start on the first of January, which is when I’ll be posting this masterlist/explanation as well as the first chapter.
Please Read
I’ve put a lot of effort into this; I studied all the song meanings, lyrics, and thought hard about what I personally thought about the songs, and what you all thought about them as well. If you think I portrayed the song idea in a way that wasn’t really correct, please tell me, I’m open to criticism.
But please remember that, even though this story is a lot about the development of Panic!, not just as a band, but a family,
1. Everyone has different opinions, even Brendon and Ryan, and
2. It is a slash fan fiction of Brendon/Ryan, so on some fics I may have had to change it slightly to fit the way I want this whole storyline to go.
Also, some ideas might be a little cliché or really overused , but I’m sure many writers have based theirs on these songs, so forgive me, but I have to stick to what the songs tell me to write.
Remember, this is written before the band split because that was when the record was written/recorded, not because I wish they'd get back together. Pfft.
