Yeah, I think Jon's a super talented guy and deserves the recognition he deserves. He's doing what he wants, and if he's happy doing that than more power to him! As for The Young Veins, I doubt it's ~over. Obviously Ryan's still on good terms with Andy and Nick and Will Noon so I doubt there was HUGE drama even between him and Jon, or anyone in Jon.

Ah, I can see that. When he's in Chicago he does kind of seem to drift. But whatever, we don't know, haha. There's no telling what ~really~ happened, but he's engaged now so I'm sure he's got a lot to consider.

Home Recordings is so cute, it calms me down a lot. :3 I think he's got the least 'impressive' voice (I'm one of those freaks who LOVES Ryan's singing voice, but Brendon's got way better technique, as he should) but it's just so...it fits him, oddly enough.

And oh, I hope you don't think I was really accusing you or vivheartsryden haha. You're quite allowed to have your opinion, whatever that may be, and I've definitely seen people being sort of passive aggressive about Jon recently and I just don't really understand/know why besides the fact that he 'fucked up the young veins' and is 'being a dick', which I'm not seeing.

I just really hope there wasn't any drama. I hate that some people promote the idea and try to provoke Jon/Ryan/etc. (via twitter, tumblr, etc.) Don't you want our babies to be happy? ;_;

Yeah, even if Jon decided not to go back to the band, it's not like Ryan's just going to find something completely different. I mean, he may, since he and Jon started the band and wrote the material together. But I can't see Jon being too upset about them still going without him. But, the fact that they aren't making music without Jon may mean that they're just waiting for him to get back into it with them. And well, I don't see a lot of drama either. I'm sure that whatever is happening, they're there for each other.

Chicago's a pretty crazy place, and well, the life of a musician isn't very simple either. He's got his family, Cassie, and his career to consider. I imagine it's not too hard to get overwhelmed.

Home Recordings is cute. I'm about to buy it, I think. (I already downloaded it off of mediafire, but like I said, being a musician is hard. Especially since these songs aren't sponsored or anything. I wanna do what I can to keep Jon's music career going, even though I imagine that he makes a decent amount of money. Still.) I don't know, there's just something about Jon's voice that's incredibly appealing to me. Ryan's voice is adorable. I admit that sometimes, I make my friends shut up whenever it comes on. Like, they hate me when I play Take A Vacation. And Brendon's voice is really well developed and he definitely knows how to do a lot with it. It's just that Jon's is so....soothing. And indie-like, almost. It really does fit him well, which is weird. (I can totally still hear him lisping sometimes, though. :D I love it, ha.) I've heard some people say they think Home Recordings sounds too much like Heart of Mine and Everyone But You. Which maybe a little, but it makes sense since obviously, Jon helped write. I really love these songs though.

No, I totally understand. I respect your opinion and I pretty much agree with it. I don't know, I think I was wrong in my accusing. I was never mad at Jon though. I don't think he fucked up the band, and like I said in the last one, wasn't really being a dick. I get dramatic sometimes and totally blow things out of proportion. Ha. I like Jon wherever he may be, solo or with other dudes.
