I sure does rain a lot in Seattle...
First of all, I don't usually list my current music, but I thought that it was quite a funny coincidence.
So I was sitting at my computer when I start to hear running water. "Oh great," I thought, "my OCD roommate is taking his third shower of the day." I step outside of my room, and to my surprise, water is coming down from the ceiling. I take a second to survey the rest of the apartment and find that a good amount of water is coming down through the walls from the apartment above mine. I go upstairs, but nobody is there. I dial my landlord, but all I get is a beep.
I head back to my apartment, and now the water is coming down from the light fixture like a shower nozzle. As I am finding a bucket to put under the leak, the fire alarms begin to go off. With amazing response, firetrucks show up just moments later. At the same time the girl living in the top floor apartment also shows up and she is escorted to her room where she opens it up to find two inches of water covering the floor. The fire crew went to work vacuuming up the water and I went to work finding buckets to catch all the leaks in my apartment.
For a fairly new apartment complex (about 5 years), it doesn't leave the best impression on me that there has already been two water leaks of this magnitude... last time it was from my apartment.
EDIT: Now I have to move out... why, oh why did this have to happen during finals week? Hopefully they can finish what they are doing before Wednesday when I have my first final.
