Shopping for university is crazy! I'm going to Waterloo on Monday, and obviously living in residence, so there's lots to pack. I've had to buy so much crap... Today I bought three pairs of shoes. Three pairs. I think I just went up a cup size or two, lol. I had to buy a kettle, a new alarm clock, a telephone (they give you the line, but not a phone. What is that, honestly now?)... Not to mention a computer, which sadly sucks in the graphics department ("A computer isn't for gaming!" -Mom) and I'm WAY too broke to upgrade right now. Still, it has sweet sound and a 200GB hard drive, and an Athlon 64-bit 3400+ processor, so I'm not REALLY complaining (although... Battlefield 2... =[ ). I'm going to rip my entire CD collection onto it for taking to school (that's some 300+ CDs though... going to take a while...). I also got a new watch, which I really like.
So much money is disappearing... not to mention textbooks. Wow, those are going to be brutal from the sounds of it, plus one of my classes is probably going to have a pretty long reading list. It's too soon... I'm not ready to go...
The true massacre is in math though. I know, I'm going into Computational Mathematics, I should be expecting it. Well, I got this study manual from the university... it is KILLER. It starts with the hardest stuff I ever had to do in grade 12, and then moves up from there. And this is stuff I'm supposed to know before I even leave O_O I'm soooo screwed :P
