It's been a busy few weeks. Vacation - which was nice - then work and catching up on all the crap agound the house. Finally finished several of my woodworking and workshop projects. Faire has been kicking my ass this summer, but we're done with that now, and despite all the issues that we had with faire in general and the booth in particular this year, I'm still hit by post-faire letdown.
Last week Kate's grandmother passed away. It was rough on her mother, and for Kate and her brother. It made for a really hard weekend, but after 98 years, she had told all of us that she was ready to move on. And she did. I hope that I'm as ready and as organized when my time comes.
So faire is done, summer is ending on a down note, and work beckons. More news later.
