Congratulations to the Crums!
Ashleigh Christine Crum was born at about 9:50pm on Thursday, September 18th by caesarean section. She weighed in at approximately six pounds.
Both mom and baby are back home now and doing well. This is good news because Meagan didn't go into labor naturally: she had to be induced because Ashleigh wasn't doing well. Meagan wound up having a caesarean because her labor was progressing too slowly for her to deliver naturally after her water broke.
We got to meet little Ashleigh yesterday and she is so beautiful! I started feeling all teary when Greg got to hold her. When I held her I felt like my body was actually reacting physically to the sensation of holding a baby -I didn’t want to let go! It was funny too because as I was holding Ashleigh’s swaddled feet in my hands I could feel Jasmine moving her feet inside of me and the sensations were remarkably similar… strange feeling!
