fsmta is the worst out of the three major massage groups out there. There is the Amta (American Massage Therapy Association) and the Ambp (American bodyworks) and fsmta. (Florida State Massage therapy association)
You have to pay for membership and then an additional malpractice insurance.
You have to wait up to 5 weeks to get a form for your malpractice. I have called several times. It's pathetic. You don't get a straight answer.
You don't feel welcomed and they don't update you on where the meetings are unless you call and ask them.
I have always hated getting malpractice insurance. I feel it's a big waste of time. But that's ok. When it's up, I will not renew with this company again.
