Psychadelic art and photos
I finally finished my Jimi Hendrix portrait.
I've never painted anything that big before. And it's always nice to paint such big areas withjust one colour, it's very relaxing compaired to trying to get just the right shade of purple for the details (I never get those parts completely even).
Unfortunately it didn't like having it's photo taken so the light is a bit weird (the black is the same kind of black all over in reality)
And a work in process, it gives it some feel of the size I think.
It's standing on my old amplifier, which finally came to use again. I liked this part of the process because it doesn't look completely strange even at this stage without the darkest colour, which they usually do
Unfortunately I don't have much time to draw these days, school takes up all time ): Hopefully it'll clear up somewhat soon (and by soon I mean beginning of June
Some photos I took when I was home for Easter and also a squirrel.
That was a while ago now, it was interesting to see how much further spring had got down there than here (the grass had started to grow and up here it still was in a shade of brown/green), I live about 25 miles northwards from home.
Here's where you exit the "woods" (it only takes five minutes to pass through them) to get to the beach.

I always miss the sea when I'm here, that and the open spaces and the horizon, which I never really see up here
A squirrel seems to be living somewhere nearby. It's outside my window every now and then, first time I saw it, it was collecting some sort of down so maybe it's making a nest
