Final Crisis #6 (spoiler alert)
Let us now pause for a moment to pay tribute to the most awesome human superhero on this planet.

And guess what. My theory was correct. Man kills God. But I didn't really expect that the Man gets killed too. Awesome final splash page.
So why is this a fate worse than death? If I recall correctly, the Omega Beam/Omega Sanction of Darkseid can either kill you outright, teleport you to another location...or destroy your soul, scattering it across the universe (multiverse?).
Fellow DC Monitors, help me clarify this.
