So, I've found myself both grinding and making builds for my Final Fantasy XII characters. I get the feeling that I don't have to do it, but getting LPs, massive chains, and awesome money-loot are so easy, especially at this stage of the game. I literally have a spreadsheet listing what kinds of build each character is, including what kinds of weapons and armor to get. I then have the best weapon type & armor type for those characters listed, whether I have the license for those yet, whether I own them yet, and how much they cost if I don't own them. (The costs all get added up into a column where I calculate how much money I need.)

I also have a section that shows what License I'm currently saving for and how many LP it costs - something that I wish could be queued up in the game (along with LP shown on the normal pause menu.) I have all of the Magick and Technicks that I don't own yet on there along with their prices as well. I've also unlocked all the Grimoires so I can get better loot, although I haven't purchased them all.

I'm 25 hours into the game, but I'm guessing I've only seen about 25% of the story at best. I'm officially addicted. Heck, I'm already planning my next run of the game, as far as the order of getting Licenses.

I could easily write a Walkthrough when this is over. I hate most of them enough that I would do it, although it would be more of a "this is not how to go through the game step-by-step but what to do so your characters never get challenged."

Gambits are ingenius, and I'm sad that I didn't think of making a low-level script as a gameplay mechanic myself. I do wish that they could be linked together, though. Also, the limits kind of suck, and there are definitely some Gambit conditions that I want that are not yet unlocked.

I guess this is what over two years of playing World of Warcraft will do to you. I love this game, but I am kind of a little anxious that WoW has spoiled me, and that I will quickly run out of content after the game is over. Oh well, by then Burning Crusade will be out, and after a month or two of that, I may be ready for another round of Final Fantasy XII.
