(no subject)
So.. I haven't updated in a few weeks. What's up with me?
Well, I've actually been pretty active. In the last two weeks, I've been to a roller skating party, spent the day at a water park, went on a small shopping spree, and had a guy's night out playing games and such.. all while working about 50 hours a week. Yay me!
I also sat paranoid as my mother had major surgery last week. She couldn't have come out better, so yay at that too!
Unfortunately, I also broke up with my girlfriend. Granted, she didn't KNOW she was my girlfriend, and she doesn't even live here. We haven't even met. I can't live like this, Kirsten Dunst! We're through! *cries*
..or not..
Things have been different lately. I'm in much more creative moods lately, even writing a bit here and there. (Nothing's ready - don't ask.) I've also been reading different stuff lately. I was on a pure Fantasy kick for awhile - Wheel of Time, Potter, Pern - all back to back, and then I read the eight Ender book. Now I'm reading.. Oscar Wilde. I love 'The Importance of Being Earnest' and was one of the only ones who could truly laugh when they showed it in Spider-Man 2.. with Kirsten.. what was I thinking?!? Come back to me!

I'm thinking of finally reading the book I've owned for a few years now but just haven't had the courage to try.. Les Miserables. I guess I've finally recovered enough from my Literature courses to enjoy literature again.
Someone should move here. I have friends, but they're different. They're all musicians. It's tough being a non-instrumentalist among musicians. I get by since I got "mad vocal skillz" but that's just not the same - especially when they start talking shop. I need a TV-watching, cartoon-loving, comic book / Science Fiction / Fantasy-loving dork to keep me company when I'm not at work. (I enjoy the people I work with, but I already spend 50 hours a week with them..)
I also have started to use dashes more - it's distinctive.
