You Know I Have To Do This

HEY EVERYONE GUESS WHAT MONTH IT IS THAT'S RIGHT IT'S OCTOBER!!! =D

No, for real! It's October! Check your calendars! And guess what ELSE? It's COLD HERE. Well, it was like 60 degrees out this morning. That's pretty cold for this time of the year here, so I was like "WOW. I AM SO EXCITED I'M FREEZING." I hope this winter will be a cold one so that people will be forced to wear all the socks I've made for them. My hard work will pay OFF.

Speaking of my hard work, the 2nd sock of my aunt's pair of socks is taking forever because I got a sudden The Sims 2 bug and have been playing again. I go in cycles. In one cycle I'll be all "NINTENDO DS NINTENDO DS" and then I won't touch my DS for a week and instead be knitting the whole time and then I'll drop that and be Simming for a week and so on. I think I'm moving from a knitting phase into a bit of a Simming phase, which is BAD because I have 2 weeks during which I must finish this sock and make another pair (and that other pair is with acrylic yarn. That's gonna feel weird after knitting nothing but wool for a month). This is no time to be making weird Sim experiments.

It IS time to get all ~serious~ about school work (ew). I mean, I always am but now my "Oh my gosh, this is actually due soon AUGH" reaction is finally kicking in. I actually DID work on stuff, though, so I appeased it a bit. I'm still dreading my final final project, though, mainly because I have no clue what it is. I like my teacher for this class but I don't like that the syllabus is like "and one final project" and it doesn't say exactly what it entails. I have no clue how long it is or how much research it will take so I'm just like, "THE UNKNOWN! *SCARED*"

Oh! And my right-hand index finger is gross right now. It looks all like the knitting callus on it got messed up and it's all...peeling or something. *grosses everyone out* I don't even know how you heal that or whatever. It's probably because of my super pointy metal needles. I don't think this ever happened with my bamboos but these knit so much fasteeer. My finger will heal but time never returns.

ALSO, I just heard there's going to be an RPG based on The Wizard of Oz? THIS IS EXCITING NEWS. I am always on the lookout for a new RPG. But I heard the battle system will be like the one on Earthbound and Dragon Quest where you don't see your own character at all...? That...bums me out a little. I kind of love seeing my character in battles (this is one of the reasons it's taking me forever to finish Dragon Quest IV; not seeing my characters AND silent heroes together is too much for me, it seems).

Finally, I am concerned about Fame. I was looking forward to it and my cousin and I were all "OMG OMG WE GOTTA SEE IT DANCING MOVIE BLABLA" and now everyone's like "It is lame, seriously, y'all." I really wanted some nachos, too.

And I love Glee! The first 2 episodes had me all like "Um...I don't see it except for that adorable, porcelain-faced young man" (I meant Kurt, of course) but now I'm all "YEAH, WEDNESDAY NIGHT!" and stuff. Emma saying that Kurt has the face of an 11-year-old milkmaid was the best thing I've heard on this show so far. Still, I understand why some people wouldn't like this show. I think it's kind of hit and miss... I just have fun watching it and so I do. Cause...that's what TV's about. Well, fine, and for the news.

P.S: I am TOTALLY disappointed at all these famous peoples that are all "But Polanski, he makes such good movies! If you jail him, WHO IS GOING TO MAKE US AWESOME MOVIES?? Was it even rape? I don't think it was rape. Those Americans are so touchy," or whatever. I bet if it was any old random dude they'd be all "OMG MAKE HIM PAY NO SERIOUSLY." I'm hoping none of my favorite famous people break my heart with their position on this matter (not that any of these celebrities' positions should even matter or carry any weight in this issue).
