AAAAUGH! I'm supposed to be ASLEEP but I stayed up trying to work a bit more on this paper that is due on Thursday, since I won't have that much time tomorrow because I ALSO have to study for our final. @_@ But...it will be okay! I am optimistic. This semester was weird so I thought I'd have zero regrets over it ending and whatnot but I'll actually sort of miss those classes again. That's a good thing, right? Anyway, I'm also optimistic about work, actually! Like, it looks like this project won't be too bad and it may even be fun at times and, better yet, I just found out I can play my DS during lunch and breaks! (they have strict rules about electronic equipment so I wasn't sure). *_* I'm totally taking Chrono Trigger and The World Ends With You with me. They have to be games I'm okay playing without a walkthrough. Maybe I'll take Professor Layton and the Curious Village and stuff as well. And Animal Crossing: Wild World. That'll be a good way to keep my village clean and stuff. Maybe Brain Age too. AHAHAHA! Sudoku! Man, the Brain Age dude is gonna SCOLD me. I haven't touched that in, like, a year. Not the Final Fantasy games because I'm too perfectionistic with those and always play them with a walkthrough. Speaking of which (not really), I REALLY want to find my copy of Paperboy or buy a new one. I LOVED that game. SO. MUCH. I would so buy the SNES one on Virtual Console if they had it out (do they...?). Actually, this might be a good excuse to buy the New Super Mario Bros game for the DS that Rhiannon recommended a while back. I need a game I can start playing and shut off quickly if I have to and that I can just play a bit and close because our breaks are short, of course. It's times like these that make me wish all games had the QuickSave feature.
ANYWAY! So. I hate the Evil Cow Mascot from The Sims 2, right? It keeps coming by and setting the sprinklers in the kitchen off, upsetting everybody. I wanted it GONE even though I know it will just respawn. I thought it'd be fitting if it died by getting eaten by the cow plant. I get the cow plant and set it up and all is going well...except my favorite dormie Amy Go turned out to be a moron and she tried to grab that cake and got eaten and died. I really liked her because she was super nice and in love with one of the other dormies named Glen Riley and I was so excited for both of them. Still, I decided to move on and had one of my Sims drink her (AUGH! Here's to you, Amy Go...) and Katherine Chun moved in and I kept going. I set the plant up again, invited the Evil Cow Mascot, etc.
Well, Glen Riley must have been more distraught than I thought because HE went after the friggin' cake this time and got eaten. DORMIES. PLEASE. THIS DEATH IS NOT MEANT FOR YOU. STOP COMMITTING SUICIDE BY COW PLANT.
I guess I'll keep going again. If anything, all the dormies will be dead eventually and the game will finally respawn some new ones (hopefully with better names than Goopy Pai, since I got this mod that supposedly gives you better names. Although Goopy Pai is kind of neat).
Also,
this article about the quarterlife crisis is really interesting and I think it makes a lot of sense, though I disagree with some parts of it. I was happy that I took the quiz and was still okay (mostly a though a few b)!
