Here is Greenwood and Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth
YAY~! I'm still so excited about the Here is Greenwood drama! I think everything looks ok so far, in terms of the cast. I think the main four are spot on, and the rest of the cast looks awesome! So please, please, please be good, Here is Greenwood drama! I BEG YOU~! It starts in July, too, so it's SOOOON. I hope it gets subbed quickly and so on, and that it is not neglected or anything. Because my hopes are high.
You don't UNDERSTAND...! This is, like, my DREAM drama! Ok, ok, Hana Yori Dango was too, but that was the first drama I ever watched, so I never really got to "dream" about it or something. This drama is the one that I wished for with all my heart yet didn't really think they'd actually go ahead and do. So if it sucks, my heart will break into a million pieces and I will probably go into denial and be all, "No, it didn't suck. It was a DREAM!" or something. Because I am weirdly attached to this story. This is probably my second favorite anime ever, and it was just a little OAV thing. I think my favorite anime go like this...

Further around there lie Fushigi Yuugi, Slayers, the original Dragonball (speaking of which, I hope the movie kicks butt against all odds and that everyone is like "Wow, I can't believe it, this is my favorite movie ever, I shouldn't have doubted it" or something), The Vision of Escaflowne, Gundam Wing, and so on. I really seem to go for the "slice of life" or whatever kind of stuff, though...I think. You know! With the friendship and the happiness and so on.
And now, updates on Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth! Basically, you play a valkyrie who goes around looking for dead/dying people to recruit for the war between the gods in Asgard and stuff. So...your party is made up of dead people. I think the concept is really interesting, if kind of a huge bummer sometimes (saw a character you like? TOO BAD! He's gonna die, probably). The music is reaaally pretty, too.
Lenneth Valkyrie / Platina:
So Lenneth is the main character Valkyrie woman who has to choose from among the dead to send soldiers up to Asgard and help the gods fight their war. She's...not my favorite, actually. When she's the Valkyrie she's all cold and such (I guess she's supposed to be, though). As Platina, it feels like she wasted Lucian's whole plan for trying to help her by being all, "Whee, weeping lillies, I think I'll sleep here!" I'm sort of indifferent to her, I guess. Sadly, she's the main character and must be in my party at all times. What's that? She's the most powerful character, probably? Well...I don't care! I hate it when the main guy is forced into my party, even when it makes sense. ^_^;
Arngrim:
He was a mercenary guy who killed himself rather than fight this guy he respected and that's how he died and joined Lenneth. He seems like your typical gruff, cranky guy. He's fairly strong, though, so he's ok. I don't think I'll be able to send him to Asgard anytime soon, though (and I hear I'm not supposed to, so I guess it works out). I actually don't use him too much because...I've never been big on the tough guy kind of character, I guess. But he's cool. I can respect that.
Jelanda:
The princess of Artolia, she got all mad and sassy at Arngrim cause he dissed her dad. Then she plotted against him but it never worked out (maybe cause she's 14...?) and then she got kidnapped and turned into a monster and then had to be killed and so she joined Lenneth. I don't know why, but I actually like her a lot. Maybe cause I'm all defensive of my dad too. Or maybe it's just because she's voiced by Jessie from Team Rocket. Ahahaha! Plus, right now she's doing the most damage out of anyone in my party with her spells. Oh, Jelanda. Please don't ever leave me. I don't want to send you to Asgard~!
Freya:
Freya is...Odin's right-hand woman or something. She's the one who tells Lenneth what kind of warriors to send to Asgard and tells her how the ones she has sent are doing. Why do I have the feeling that she's really a bad guy...? Anyway, she told me I was magnificent or something, so I'm ok with her...for NOW. I like her hat.
Belenus:
Belenus was this nice nobleman guy whose whole family died and all he had left was his maid, whom he loved. Then a vampire put a curse on the maid and Belenus was all, "No, take me instead!" and so he died, leaving that poor maid all alone. I guess she's alive, at least. Until the vampire realizes what happened and comes back for her. Still, his sacrifice is appreciated. I like him a lot! I already sent him to Asgard, though, so I mostly only see him through reports and such. He seems to be doing real, real well. Awww~!
Llewelyn:
Llewelyn is this 18-year-old soldier archer kid who had a girlfriend named Millia. They were so in love and planned to marry after he came back from the war and he was all, "No, I won't die, so don't worry," and so, of course, he totally died. I love Llewelyn. ^_^; He's my favorite character right now. His story is so sad. T_T And I love his traits~! Cowardly, unlucky, can't swim, worrier, altruistic, serious, romantic... Awwwww! I love you, Llewelyn~! ^_^; Sadly, he's already gone to Asgard, so we won't be hanging out much.
Lawfer:
Lawfer is...the knight captain of Artolia's son. He is cute. And he was Arngrim's...student or something? When he heard that Arngrim went nuts and killed Princess Jelanda (hey, she was a monster!) and then killed himself and such, he was all, "No way! Why would Arngrim...?" and got so sad he signed up for some suicide mission and died somehow (they never really seem to tell you). Anyway, I crush on Lawfer. He was all righteous and nice and he let a wounded bad guy get away cause he's just that fair and righteous and would not fight an unarmed man and so on. He, too, has gone up to Asgard. I miss you, Lawfer. I miss you and your justice-filled Purify Weird Soul tornado attack thing.
Nanami:
Nanami was this shrinemaiden type person who was adopted by her friend Minayo's parents. Apparently, only someone from Minayo's bloodline could do the thing Nanami went off to do at the shrine and then Minayo's vengeful ghost appeared and was gonna kill her or something but Nanami traded souls with Minayo somehow and so she died instead. Like, her soul went with Lenneth. My game was...different from the guide I'm using. I think I was supposed to get Janus in Chapter 2 but I got Nanami instead. Anyway, she seems nice. Jelanda's still the better mage in my game, but Nanami is pretty dang decent. As a character, I guess she was cool. So, what, she traded souls with Minayo and now Minayo's parents think Minayo-in-Nanami's-body is still Nanami? @_@ Anyway, I'll be sending her to Asgard soon because I just got...
Yumei:
Yumei's story was SAD, man! She was this half-mermaid girl whose mom died and she wanted to see her human dad but it turns out he was dead too. She was looking for this gemstone to wish for her family to be together and she told this Fuyuki kid about it. He found the gemstone and he wished for her to be with her parents but since her parents were dead he kind of KILLED her with his wish, which is a total bummer. At least she's with her parents, right? WRONG! She's with...Lenneth. Fighting zombies and vampires. That sure sucks for Yumei, and it also sucks that Jelanda and Nanami seem to be better mages, too. Still, she turns into a mermaid whenever she casts a spell, and that makes me really happy because I think mermaids are cool. She is SO going to Asgard soon, though.
Jun:
Uh...I didn't get Jun's story at all. He had a twin sister who was blind and he went into a cave and fought an ogre but somehow he became the ogre and then it turns out the ogre was a representation of his SOUL or something and because his soul was ogre-ugly his sister went blind because twins are connected like that. WHAT?? I think my mind just couldn't...get it. I'll have to rewatch that somehow or something. Anyway, he died. I think Lenneth killed him when she killed the ogre, actually. I don't know. I have no idea. But he's a samurai and I've barely used him so I'm going to start leveling him up now. He has a ponytail and that's cool. You KNOW he's going to Asgard unless he impresses me soon.
Kashell:
Kashell is one of those people I like to call "Celia's Band of Dead Friends." See, Celia's this girl who had, like, five friends: Arngrim, Lawfer, Kashell, Aelia, and Grey (I think). And they all die. Seriously. ALL of them, I believe. One by one. In that order, too, I think. But Celia doesn't die and that kind of sucks for her cause she's all alone. Anyway, Kashell. He died when he and Celia went to check out a village of people that got turned to stone and then shattered. Gross. He got killed by the monster that did all that and died protecting this vial of medicine to heal those people (well, the one girl who WASN'T shattered). It was really sad and he has blue hair and is cute. He irritates me sometimes, though, because I'll kill a dragon in one hit and he'll go "That didn't go quite as well as I expected!" and I'm like, "Kashell, are you high or something? We killed it in one hit!" We have a complicated relationship, but I like his battle stance. Like a CHEETAH or something. I don't know. I don't know anything about cheetah battle stances.
And thats...everyone I have so far. I'm getting Aelia, Lorenta, and Janus next, apparently. Poor Celia.
