If not, it was DEFINITELY one of them! Ok, ok, it's not even my birthday yet but we did have my birthday party and gifts and stuff today. And GUESS WHAT I GOT? Just GUESS!
Ok, ok, I'll tell you. I got... A BRAND NEW LAPTOP! *_*
It's
this one right here and it is pretty and PINK! Pretty IN pink! *_* Like a dreeeam. I almost flipped out when I saw it.
See, we went to Friendly's for lunch and all was cool (it went REALLY well and everyone liked their food and stuff *was concerned*). Then, at the end, they brought out the cake and the presents and stuff and mom gave me this heavy box. I wondered what it could be and then I opened it and it said "Sony" on it, so I was like "A PS3...??" but then it didn't say "PlayStation" anywhere, so I pulled the box out of the wrapper some more and it said "Personal Computer." Of course, then I was like, "NO WAY AUGH" and I opened it and my eyes widened even MORE when it said "Vaio" and then even MORE MORE when I saw it was PINK.
So now I have a pink laptop. Just like I always wanted~! ^_^; But I have to get used to this new keyboard layout. I always abused the Home and End keys, so I have to get used to this new weirdness where the End key only goes to the end of a WORD and not of the whole line. The Insert key is also somewhere else, so I have to get used to that too. But other than that, IT IS AWESOME!!
1. I Look Young!? *_*
My 12-year-old cousin asked how old I was. When I told him I was turning 25, he freaked out. I was like, "D...Does that mean I look OLDER or YOUNGER?" and he said, "I thought you were, like, 16!" That made me really happy. ^_^;
2. My Brother is a Weirdo.
So, my brother is weird. The waitress was taking our orders and he didn't know what to get to drink, so when she asked what he wanted, he just said, "Surprise me!"
3. But I DIDN'T cry!
Everyone was trying to guess what my present was before I opened it, so that was fun. They were like, "Is it heavy? It's a heavyish box... ROLLER SKATES!" and other such ridiculous suggestions. When I opened it and got all tongue-tied, my uncle started chanting, "CRY! CRY! CRY! CRY!" and it was really funny.
