Thanks to Rhiannon, I decided to start replaying Final Fantasy IX again! Well, I had already begun a new game and gotten to the part with the Ice Cave, so at least I don't have to start from the veeery beginning, except that...this IS the very beginning. ^_^; But I still love this game, so I don't mind. My only complaint right now is Garnet, actually. I don't know what to do with her and I forgot what I used to do with her the first time I played the game. I mean, unless people need to be healed, there's not much she can do, since she has no offensive spells and her physical attack power is crap. I'll just have her defend, I guess.
It's sad because she's essentially a White Mage and I love White Mages and yet here I am not knowing what to do with her, but it's because other White Mages at least had SOME sort of offensive capability. Like, in Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions you could give a White Mage a good secondary ability so they could still be attackers. They could use Black Magic or you could let them have Brawler or Equip Gun and they could still attack and stuff. And in Final Fantasy III you can give them a staff and they can attack with Black Magic that way. But here...I don't know. Maybe I'm missing something or maybe I just forgot. I'll have to look it up at GameFAQs.
Ahh... I like everyone in this game. There is no character in my party I hate. I'll admit I didn't know how to use some to their fullest potential (like Quina; I suck at using Blue Mages because I never collect enough Blue Magic skills or use them efficiently). And I love the game's atmosphere and especially the music. The overworld theme is all mellow and soothing.
But, most of all, I love Vivi. I LOVE YOU, VIVI! *_* In fact, my top 10 Final Fantasy characters are probably...
1. Terra (FFVI)
2. Vivi (FFIX)
3. Edgar (FFVI)
4. Setzer (FFVI)
5. Faris (FFV)
6. Auron (FFX)
7. Galuf (FFV)
8. Rydia (FFIV)
9. Meliadoul (FFT: TWoL)
10. Valmafra (FFT: TWoL)
Something like that! I'm not sure of that order, but probably something like that. Of course, I probably forgot someone (and, for the record, my favorite Final Fantasy villain is absolutely, 100% Kefka). Ooh. I'm kind of proud of that list. It's evenly split up, with five guys and five girls. Equality and all that. I didn't even plan it that way!
And I've developed a sudden interest in that German band, Tokio Hotel. The worst part is, it's only because of the vocalist, Bill Kaulitz. I feel so incredibly shallow because I've only heard two of their songs and I only liked one (an OLD one, too). I'd be one of those fans that doesn't even actually like the band's music and is just a fan because "their so kewt." AGH! But...
I just like Bill's personality. Forgive me! So I guess you'd say that, rather than having developed an interest in Tokio Hotel, I developed an interest in Bill Kaulitz. I think Bill would much rather I develop an interest in his band. I do admit, though, I totally like his hair better
when he's wearing a hat or
just has it down normally, not
when it's all crazy and spiky and Sonic the Hedgehog-like.
Spring Break is beautiful. Too bad I have HOMEWORK for next week too. Like, three big projects. Why can't teachers be nice and not give huge homework assignments over breaks? The point of a break is to rest, not to have more time for your assignments. >_< Of course, they'd say, "If you planned it and did it earlier you wouldn't have to do it now," but...I had to do your OTHER work earlier. Just forget it!
Ok, I think I'm all caught up now. See you next time!
