I'm still pretty ok with Ben. I don't really get why he kept squinting but I heard it was something to do with his contacts. I thought it was cute when he gave his lucky amulet to thing to Ronnie for luck. Aw~! SHINING FRIENDSHIP! Let's hope Ronnie's comment at the end doesn't sour anything up.
♥Casey:
Casey has gone up in my book. I thought his being afraid of the snake was cute, and I love his face. I think I'll like him most if he's not under Perry's influence or something. And yet he and Perry can be hilarious together. I just don't know.
♥Frankie:
I've mellowed out about Frankie. I don't think he's malicious or anything, just really...the type that says things without thinking, maybe? Anyway, I was freaking out about his haircut too, but I think this one suits him a lot. It was funny when Holly said he had her same haircut. Am I...weird for kind of hoping they become friends? I'm always a sucker for stories where people who start out as enemies end up as BFFs.
♥Holly:
Holly remains awesome, as usual. I really liked what she said to Jacki and I thought it was really sweet that she was so sad when Stephanie left. I felt bad for her having to go in the water like that while sick, and she was awesome with the peacock on the catwalk.
♥Jacki:
Oh, Jacki. I don't know what to do with you. Right now I am sort of indifferent about her.
♥Perry:
Why do I dislike Perry so much now? That one phone call just... I don't know. I mean, I have mellowed out since last week but I just don't like him. I never actively liked him, but I didn't dislike him either and now I do and I can't even fully explain it.
♥Ronnie:
I still love Ronnie. He did great today and I was happy. I had a mini freakout about his hair, which they seem to have darkened and cut differently, but then I got used to it. I think he was just being honest about Ben at the end and I don't expect that comment to cause any problems. RIGHT!?
♥Shannon:
I was surprised that Shannon had such trouble this week. I wonder why it was? At least she got it in the end but I was really worried. I had my phone all ready to vote for her if she was in the bottom 3 (sorry, Ben). Luckily, she was saved. YAY, SHANNON!
♥Stephanie:
I was sad when she left, actually, but I sort of expected it. It seemed like everyone was splitting their votes between Ronnie and Frankie (with Ronnie getting the overwhelming majority), so I figured she'd be the one to leave. Still, she seemed really nice and cool and I thought she was a really good model.
And so, my current top people are Holly, Shannon, and Ronnie. I voted for Ben tonight by process of elimination. Yes, I fully admit I voted for him based solely on who I like the most as a person and not on modeling qualities. I doubt my lone cell phone vote makes much of a difference, though, since it seems that most people vote a million times both by cell phone and online and however else they can, so... But it's ok! I think I'd only be freaking out if Holly, Shannon, Ronnie, or Casey were up for the vote.
Also, I agree with Al Lowe at Television Without Pity. I think the worst part is when the judges ask the contestants questions at the end and I do not understand why they have to ask the other models their opinions. It just seems meant to cause drama. Didn't that Cory guy ask something like "Suchandsuch, do you understand why I'm saying that to Perry?" at one point? What the heck? What does Suchandsuch have to do with Perry? And what WAS up with walking on the catwalk with animals? Do models really have to do that?
So. Many. Questions.
Ok, I'm done rambling about that. Let's talk about dramas. Why is it so hard for me to get into shows sometimes? I remember that it took me forever to start watching My Name Is Kim Sam-Soon and get into it but, once I did, it became my favorite (well, now my second favorite because of Coffee Prince) Korean drama ever. In fact, even Coffee Prince took me like 4 episodes. Well, I'm having the same problem with My Girl and Hong Gil Dong, both of which seem to be really popular. I want to love them too! But I keep getting distracted while watching the first episode of Hong Gil Dong, and I'm still only on episode 4 of My Girl.
But I must not give up! What if I had given up on MNIKSS or Coffee Prince at episode 4!? I'd never have known their GREATNESS. And so, even if it takes me two years, I will eventually finish Hong Gil Dong and My Girl.
