Did I Forget Anything...?
Oh man, you guys. I finished ALL of my assignment before 1 AM. It was just amazing. A MIRACLE. Seriously, I was expecting it to take me all night but, somehow, I finished it all early. Maybe it was a miraculous reward for helping the children? I guess I'm going to be helping the children a lot more often now. Since...it is what I am studying for. ^_^;
Which is ironic because, despite me helping the children, I do not understand them very well and they only gravitate toward me when they need homework help. Or videogame help. Or money. Seriously. The last time a child came and gave me a big hug without its mother asking it to go say hi to their cousin was when my 8-year-old cousin came over and sat on my lap with teary eyes to tell me that he wanted a slurpee but his daddy said no and did I have any money. -_-; I almost fell for it, too. That same child pulled the same thing after he realized I was farther ahead than he was in Pokemon Diamond and could I please get him a Steelix and a Luxio (I did fall for it that time but at least it didn't cost me anything?).
So yes. Me and the children...I don't know. Most of my cousins seem to have a natural hand with kids and they just flock to them and give them hugs and kisses and it's like Mary Poppins or the lady from The Sound of Music (same actress, right?) and I'm just left wondering why they won't love me as much and as willingly. I mean, I've tried bribing them with candy but that whole No Candy From Strangers thing must be interfering with my plan. Come ON, you children! It's ME!
And, oh, man. My aunt just sent me a forward about how you should clean the top of soda cans before you drink them cause they might be infected with rat germs or something from whatever warehouse they were in and GUESS WHAT I'M DRINKING AND WHAT I DIDN'T DO? >.<
Now I'm gonna get all paranoid and be like "UGH! My toe itches! I DON'T WANNA DIE"
