Phoenix Wright Character Songs...?
So I was still in an 80s kick and I decided to listen to my entire "The 80s" playlist. I've also been on a Phoenix Wright kick lately, so I started trying to figure out which song could be a character/theme song for each character and so on. You know, like having "You're the Best Around" by Joe Esposito be Gumshoe's song to Phoenix or Edgeworth or something (I don't know if it fits but it was funny to picture it) or maybe "Mickey" by Toni Basil as Desiree's song to Ron or something.
Anyway, "The Promise" by When in Rome came on (you know! The ending song to Napoleon Dynamite!) and I was listening to the beginning and went, "Awww! This could be, like, Edgeworth's song to Phoenix or something."
Then came that part in the chorus that says, "But if you wait around a while, I'll make you fall for me, I promise you I will."
I'd completely forgotten about that line and so it cause a weird fit of giggles. I guess Edgeworth wouldn't sing this to Phoenix after all. ^_^;
P.S: Why in the world haven't I been watching Galileo!? It stars Masaharu Fukuyama, whom I have loved since before I liked dramas at all. He was the first real, live Japanese man I ever loved. In fact, he was in the first drama I ever watched, Hitotsu Yane no Shita (I only got to see the first 5 episodes raw and I'm STILL hoping I can find the rest, and subbed). So now I have to watch this drama.
