I WOULD! I totally would marry Chrono Trigger if I could. I just got the urge to replay my old SNES copy and I did and I love it. I love everything about it.
1. The graphics
2. The music
3. The story
4. The characters
5. The menu screen
6. The time traveling
7. The bad guys
8. The fact that you can walk away while people are still talking ^_^;
9. The EVERYTHING!
I've always known my heart belonged to either this game or Final Fantasy VI. The winner was Final Fantasy VI, but I think it's probably because of sentimental reasons (it was my first RPG ever. Well, Illusion of Gaia was my first RPG ever, but you know, my first nonaction RPG ever). I also love Suikoden II, but it lost some points because of some flaws.
Look, the point is, I will cry a junkload the day my SNES stops working or something. I would be sooo happy if they would remake Chrono Trigger for the Game Boy Advance, like they did the earlier Final Fantasy games. Then I could take it with me wherever I go. Ahhh... While they're at it, they should also remake Lufia II and Secret of Mana for the GBA. Come on, you guys! Resolve your copyright issues already~!
In other news, I've rediscovered my love for It Started With a Kiss too, and am slowly rewatching it. I like Itazura na Kiss (the original version) too, but everything seems more exaggerated there (Kotoko seems stupider than Xiang-Qin, Naoki seems colder than Zhi-Shu, and Kin-chan seems more reckless than Ah-Jin). I still love Xiang-Qin/Kotoko's and Zhi-Shu/Naoki's parents the same in both versions, though. And I get kind of nostalgic when I see the early 90sish look of Itazura na Kiss. Ahh, good times...
I can't wait till the second season of It Started With a Kiss begins. Unless...it started already!? O.O!! DramaWiki says it'll start November 25...phew! If Joe Cheng marries Ariel Lin one day, I'll be totally ok with that. Just like I'm totally rooting for Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun-Hye (MAN, I never know exactly how to romanize their names. The way we were taught in Korean class isn't the way most fans seem to do it). But...it is just wishful thinking on my part.
This takes me back to last year. It's hard to believe it's only been about a year since I began watching Asian dramas. My very first one was Hana Yori Dango. My first Taiwanese one was It Started With a Kiss, and then my first Korean one is complicated... The first one I actually saw was Goong, but the first one I actually FINISHED all the way was My Name is Kim Sam-Soon. I should make a list of all the ones I've actually finished.
Dramas I've Seen All the Way (No Skipping Episodes):
1. Hana Yori Dango (1 & 2)
2. Nobuta wo Produce
3. Densha Otoko
4. Coffee Prince
5. Gokusen
6. My Name is Kim Sam-Soon
7. Liar Game
8. Trick
9. Princess Princess D (it was so weird that I couldn't avert my eyes)
Whoa. That's...not that many. It's true. I tend to fast forward a lot or skip episodes. There's usually one aspect of the dramas that hook me and I tend to fast forward the rest (like secondary couples and stuff; I fast forwarded all the Han-Sung x Yoo-Joo parts in Coffee Prince. I'm sorry, Lee Sun-Gyoon, I still love you!). But then there's a lot I've seen MOST of.
Dramas I've Seen Most Episodes of Including the Ending:
1. It Started With a Kiss (I think I skipped some episodes in the middle, but I'll watch them now)
2. Hua Yang Shao Nian Shao Nu (I somehow never watched the final episode, so why is it on this list...? But still!)
3. Sapuri
4. Himitsu no Hanazono
5. Mars
6. Devil Beside You
7. Goong
8. Majo no Jouken
And then there's a junkload I haven't finished but hope to someday. Maybe I just...am not ready to let go of them yet. *sniffle* It is so painful when they end. Unless they suck or drag on forever. Then it is great when they end.
Ok, back to my game! Leene Square awaits!
