I MISS you, Coffee Prince...

I miss it already. *sobs*

Well, it seems a lot of people were somewhat disappointed with the final episode of Coffee Prince. I can sort of understand why. As for me, I liked it a lot! I do agree I would have liked to see a bit more lovey-doveyness between Eun-Chan and Han-Gyul after she came back, but I still liked it a lot. I was especially moved by her goodbyes with the coffee princes, as well as her welcome-backs with the coffee princes (AW, SUN-KI HUGGED HER!). Seeing how much they all care about each other, Coffee Prince looks like an awesome place to work at.

Anyway, at least we have a pretty strong assurance that they will get married eventually and that they'll stay together from here on out (no more I'm-going-abroad stuff!). And I was pleased to see that, while Eun-Chan did get a bit more feminine, she still retained a certain tomboyishness and her outfits weren't THAT girly. I was worried they'd make her come back looking like a supermodel or something and that would have bugged me so much.

Oh, and the flashbacks totally got me. I got all choked up, remembering the previous episodes.

Favorite Scenes:
1. The morning after was really funny and cute. Even Han-Gyul looked embarrassed, sort of.
2. The goodbye scenes with the coffee princes (Oh, Ha-Rim~! I love you~!).
3. Han-Gyul singing to Eun-Chan.
4. Ha-Rim opening the bathroom door and Han-Gyul's startledness (I laughed really hard at that). ^_^;
5. Han-Gyul just staaaaring at Eun-Chan when she came back.
6. Sun-Ki and Mr. Hong shopping at the supermarket (I thought that was cute).
7. Other things I'm probably forgetting. ^_^;

So, in summary, I liked the ending because...

1. Eun-Chan got to accomplish her dream.
2. Eun-Chan and Han-Gyul clearly stayed together and it is heavily implied they'll get married soon (and I think we can assume they'll probably try to have those 3 kids they both said they wanted).
3. Eun-Chan even said she'll never leave Han-Gyul's side again.
4. Min-Yub ended up happy with Eun-Sae.
5. Ha-Rim and Sun-Ki ended up happy too (even if it was kind of rushed and sudden, I'm still glad they got some happiness, especially Sun-Ki).
6. Han-Sung and Yu-Ju stayed together and happy (I don't care that much about Yu-Ju but Han-Sung deserved some joy after all the crap she put him through before).
7. Han-Gyul became a respectable businessman and got to open another shop, like he wanted to (and I imagine he feels he got his father's respect as well as his grandmother's).

In the end, I'd say Coffee Prince is now tied with Densha Otoko for My Favorite Drama of All Time (but Densha Otoko is a hard thing to beat, in my book. *loves that thing to death*), and that is no small feat.

Now to wait for the special tomorrow! I hope we get to see/find out cool things and I hope it gets subbed.

Oh! Speaking of behind the scenes stuff, it's fun/funny to see everyone speculate about Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun-Hye. I admit that I, too, would love to find out that they're dating, but I think they're probably not. All I want to hear, really, is that they get along well. Even finding out they're like siblings or something would be cute/cool, but I'll be fine as long as they don't hate each other or anything like that. ^_^; I was a bit concerned because in the Behind the Scenes stuff I've seen they rarely seem to talk and GY doesn't seem to pay much attention to YEH and I want him to pay attention to her. Ahahaha. I want them to be friiiiiends. I want this to be their favorite drama they've worked on and their favorite cast and their favorite everything. I want them all to stay in touch and be like a family and send each other text messages and email and go out to eat sometimes if they have time off. I want them to tell each other about cool movies and be like "No, I heard it sucked" and then the other one could be like "No, no, you gotta go see it!"

And I want GY and YEH to get married. And I want Kim Dong-Wook and Kim Jae-Wook and Lee Eon to be BFFs.

Because dreaming is COOL! ^_^;
