Aw....the weekend. Yesterday we were out all day. Kate (Josh's girlfriend) had a horse show in Tumwater, so we all drove down and watched her. Her horse, Webster, is soooooo fricking huge. It was really cute to watch Lina go from all excited to meet him to completely taken aback by his Sheer enormity. She sort of fed him a carrot, and then we went to the stands to watch the other riders jump their horses. We were there for like 4 hours before Kate's class began, and she was at the end of a 30 rider class. I normally would not have minded sitting and watching, as it was entertaining seeing all the riders and their various horses, but it was COLD.

So, I wasn't really expecting much, because her class was so big, and Kate's personality is so not serious. The way her class was, you had to jump your horse successfully over 8 or so jumps (the power portion) without any faults (horse refusing a jump, or knocking a bar down) and then you had to do the speed portion, which was timed and another 8 or so jumps. She freaking kicked ass! She cut corners that hardly anyone else did (cause evidently it's hard to get a horse to jump without a nice running start), and with a ginormous horse, and came in second. I was way impressed. We stayed and watched her next class and she came in third. Impressive!! Can't wait to go watch her again, when it's WARM outside!!

Blurry camera pic of Lina petting Webster, whose show name is "Budlight" because he's only half Clydesdale, lol.

We went to only look at TVs on Friday, trying to decide what our budget was going to be for our one and only income tax splurge. Loy had decided he was happy with a 32 inch LCD, and we were looking to spend about 600-700 max. Well, they had made a mistake on a radio ad, and we didn't know this. They were supposed to pull the ad on Thursday, but someone had messed up, so they had to honor the sale price. We didn't know this, but when Loy said, "We were looking at getting a 32 inch, but we had heard that you were offering a pretty great deal on a 42 inch" the guy assumed we had heard the ad that wasn't supposed to be on. He took us to a 42 inch LG that was listed on sale at 750 and said, "Yeah, there was a mistake, and this is the tv that you heard was on sale for 650." Yeah, ok, we'll take it.

Drool.
