artwork and whatnot
So, I'm updating this thing via the Windows Live Writer program I downloaded about a week ago. It's kind of weird, but I think I like how it works. For some reason it seems less intimidating to have a program open to start writing in, rather than a web browser. It all goes to the same place eventually though. Hmm, whatever.
I really don't know how I neglect my journal so much. I guess I'm making some progress though, this will be my 3rd post this month!
It is finally springtime! I love it when it's warm enough to have windows in the house open, to let in some fresh air. Yay!
I was hanging out with Dustin for the past 2 evenings. Ever since his schedule changed, we only have a small amount of overlapping free time. We try to spend as much of that time together as we can. It's basically Sundays after I get off work, and Mondays. I went over on Sunday evening so we could watch the episode of Lost that was on last Thursday. We really didn't do much of anything else but sit around and talk. We're pretty much in constant communication, but somehow we never run out of things to talk about.
Yesterday I went over there because we had more art projects to work on. As well as a new episode of House to catch. Lost is his show, House is mine...we're each trying to get the other hooked. That's really not important. ART! His mom requested that he make her some artwork for the house in Texas. That was a few weeks ago. He decided to get to work on it so he can mail it to her by mother's day. How cute, right!? Ended up getting that done, then doing another small canvas with a Texas theme that will be hung up in his bathroom. We sat outside for a long time. :)
This Friday I will find out my new work schedule. It's actually coming out on Thursday but I decided I'm glad that I won't be there. I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to be really pissed off about what they get. Maybe the moods will die down a bit by Friday when I get there. I'm really anxious to know what I got.
What else? Hmm, I am super excited for next weekend. I'm not sure what I'll be doing, but I know for sure that David will finally be in town! He's flying in late on Thursday. I can't wait to see him. There are so many things that he and I need to catch up about. I know his time here will be over quick, it always happens that way. I'm sure we're gonna have some good times while he's here.
