May....already?

I'm beginning to think that maybe the Bob & Sheri Shuistrologist isn't completely off her rocker afterall. I like her "forcasts" only because Bob is a virgo so whatever she thinks is happening in the universe for him is also supposed to apply to me. To Ellen's word, the first couple (few?) months of the year were messy. May was set to be a turning point. Not to get all weird on you guys, but holy shit, what a difference.

Since the last time I was here:
- There's been a weird shift in my mood at work. I know part of it is because a good friend got a new job. I think I wrote about that already but what I haven't mentioned is that I realized I don't like too many other people enough to hang around with them ALL day every day. So I'm looking a bit like a loner these days. I'm also giving in to slacker tendencies more and leaving early. Not as much as I COULD, but still an unnecessary amount. Whatever.
- There was also a big work-related meltdown over the tentative contract. I was given some oversimplied information that was passed as fact when it is only one of many possible actions. All that even before we knew if it was going to be approved or not. I was calmed down fairly easily, but it was not pretty. That contract was officially ratified, and now we're all just waiting for the changes to begin. In truth, the thought of it scares me a lot and there's nothing any of us can do but wait. Makes me sick.
- Kept up with Amy! And it's not even March.
- Made a new e-friend via Tumblr/Twitter
- I was included/linked in a post of my friend Veronica's kind-of-a-big-deal food blog!
- Learned some things (good and bad) about people I've known for years now and grew closer with just a couple short and simple conversations
- In the past couple of weeks there have been TWO trips to Oklahoma City and back for Thunder playoff games
- In the past 12-hours I made plans to go to KCMO for a Foo Fighters concert in September with 3 friends. CAN'T WAIT.

In the next couple weeks-ish:
- Tim McGraw concert #2! My mom and I have floor seats this time around, instead of sitting up in the WORST seats of the entire arena
- graduation festivities for people
- German food at Sarah's!
- Newest Pirates of the Carribean movie at the IMAX
- Paint the Towne with Angel
- Some more important and probably intense basketball to watch
- What am I forgetting? PINATA MAKING! Note to self: Email Audra tomorrow

Past my bedtime. GOODNIGHT!
