Sure, his mouth would fashion the expression whenever it was expected of him, but his heart remained lonely, aching, sad. Nothing could reach it; it was too far away, too isolated, retreating to some far off place, afraid of feeling again, afraid how those feelings ended: in pain, abandonment, disappointment.

I know only of Skins because hubby used to watch it but I liked this drabble, very sad a hearbreaking but beautiful.

i was just thinking of chris and Jal yesterday and what would have happened if he'd survived and Jal had kept the baby would she have gone to uni and would they get married or would she have put it off but they'd still be a happy little family.

yeah, i think about that sometimes.
i would have loved it if they had been happy together.
skins wouldn't be the great show it is of everything went the way we wanted it to, though.

Yeh i know, but sometimes like half of this series for instance i wish that things happened the way i wanted it i was like wtf for the most part this series
