(no subject)
After a week in Vegas I finally feel settled in.
Sometimes transitions make me crazy....hehe...alot of ppl know that of me.
The weekend saved me.
We went to Krave on Friday night. I went with the intentions of a few drinks and the courage to make some new friends....and that I did. A tokyo tea later and I was making friends with some great people.
First I met a black metal guy named Ben....we talked metal..of course
Then I met the cutest Chinese boy. Darzon.....although Sara, Jeremy and I had to make bets to see if he was a boy or a girl. I won....boy! He and his girlfriend, Kate, were super nice to me! They introduced me to a few other cool ppl...Cassandra and Dan.
Then I met this vampire kinda guy...his name was Don (later found out that he is actually the vampire Don...which made me giggle) he was sooooooo nice.
Everyone i met that night was great!
The next night..sara, jeremy and I went to The Artisan for a few glasses of wine. Then Darzon and Kate picked me up adn we went to the Emercen C to see a show. Great stuff! Went back to the Artisan and met up with Darzon's roommate and two other fellas. We kicked it like crazy there for hours and then went to Ihop....i stole the green beans off of Kate's omlette.
Today we woke up and went hiking in the mountains! RED ROCK! we climbed for at least 2 miles! what a work out...and there was this huge spider after Sara....it was all hairy and gross...! ick!
Then we went out to eat at Tony Machianos yummmm....then met up with Darzon and Kate and saw a movie at The Palms Casino. From there...Darzon, Kate and I had sushi sushi and then went to the Orleans to play more KENO!
A full weekend! I feel good about being here...the weather is perfect.....70 degrees and sunny all day...then at night its sweater time.....I love it here!
I cant even think of coming back to the cold....but i suppose i should at least go back for the holidays!
