(no subject)
so here is my random update:
- kyle, nathan, lee, and i went camping 2 weeks ago...it was fantastic! we also met donald miller (i was awkward, and couldn't figure out what to say....what do you say to the guy that wrote your favorite book?)...we all bonded, and got to enjoy the amazing creation God has given us....we are so undeserving.
(i look really bad in this picture...but we had also been camping and so we were all pretty gross looking)
- my car is currently in the shop getting fixed...luckily I have insurance, it's only costing me $200, rather than $2000
- kyle, lee, tony, and i are about to move in together! i can't wait! a house party will be soon to follow!
- the band is about to record with shrout in the next couple of weeks...we're probably going to do a 3 or 4 song EP...the current potential track list is:
1. Spilling Secrets
2. The Comfort
3. At My Happiest
all 3 songs are kind of linked to one another in a way...especially the first 2...i'm really excited about it...and i can't wait for people to finally get to hear what we've thrown all of ourselves in to...i'm more happy with all of the songs we've written than i've ever been about anything i've written in previous years...even if other people don't like it i really don't care...i want people to, sure...but we have so much fun playing it, and it's more for us than anything....
we'll be playing shows soon after we record...if you know any places to play, or bands to play with, let me know...i'm way out of the loop with the scene...
