last night's show was fantastic....this has been a great year for concerts...
the next few on my list are as follows:

Ben Folds (with John Mayer...though i don't really care about Mayer)

last night's show was fantastic...it was at the alabama theatre in birmingham, and that's the first time i've ever been there...it was really nice.... a girl opened up, i didn't catch her name...but it was more just annoying noise than anything else, but the drummer was really good...before morrissey played there were just random videos playing on a big movie screen...it was so random and confusing...i got to use my legal powers! and purchase a maker's mark and coke...they didn't card me, which i guess makes me feel good, since i don't look under-age...but yes...it was a fantastic show!...i had made the remark earlier in the evening about how i don't know that morrissey would be one of those shows that you would want to see multiple times...i stand corrected...if ever he comes back again...i will attend, it was awesome...and it would hit me at random points "oh my gosh! he wrote 'asleep'! or 'how soon is now'! or 'heaven knows...'! or etc. etc. etc."...it was really pretty surreal...but yes he played a good mix of solo and smiths songs...i was beyond impressed...and yeah...it was great
