And...breathe... Finished with finals at last! Which means no more work! And staying on the Internet! And sleeping! Hurrah!
So for the past couple of days of I've been busy watching TV, taking care of my new (and utterly adorable) puppies, playing the Sims and Harvest Moon and other such important activities :P
And after fighting with sendspace for about two days, I finally got to watch 'Avatar Day'.
"Avatar Day" was one of those episodes where nothing (excluding the, what?, two minutes about Zuko) actually happened. I mean, it had its funny moments but most of the humor was too slapstick for me. But then again, I guess I'm not eight years old right? The whole episode I couldn't help but think, "Um, don't you have something slightly more important to do than this, Aang? Like learning to earthbend, saving the world and all that jazz?" But, eh, whatever.
Highlights (in no real order):
+ Sokka and his boomerang; "You do always come back!
+ Sokka and Katara pretty much pwned with their interaction this ep
+ The dude from Mulan and Crazy Foamy Guy being awesome
+ Kyoshi being so tall with huge feet :P (Big feet FTW!)
+ Sokka still caring about Suki; I'm glad the writer's didn't just forget about her character
+ Aang in drag
+ Zuko being an ass; him getting to keep the Chocobo
But it's an okay episode, if you weren't hoping for some more advancement in the storyline or if you can ignore how things like footprints and clothes can apparently be perfectly preserved for 370 years. Other than that, Kyoshi's sexy deep voice was the only thing really worth watching it for XD
