Easily Amused Theater - Slater Zax

While searching the web for seax (which, yes, is something I occasionally do), I discovered that there is a tool called a zax, with an etymological connection to the eponymous weapon of the Saxons. It is used by roof slaters and looks nifty.

Also, did you know that, while the name of the Saxons comes from their traditional weapon of the seax, the Franks may have given their tribal name to their traditional weapon of the francisca?

Also, did you know that "Slater Zax" would be an *awesome* name for a band? :)
