Telephone prompts

Them: "You have entered [10-digit phone number]. If this is correct, press 1. Otherwise..."

Me: 1

Them: "You have entered 1. If this is correct, press 1. Otherwise..."

Me: 1

Them: "Thank you. Your number has been placed on our do-not-call list."

I have never before seen this level of concern as to whether I have pressed the right keys. Go figure. :)
