200,000!
My car just turned 200,000 miles old, slightly north of Centralia on I-5!
Unfortunately I don't have a photograph of the Big Moment because there's at least one police officer who thinks that "pulling over on the side of the road to take a picture of your dash is not a reasonable thing to do" and that I should "get out of here before I give you a ticket". Hmph.
Although to be fair, his grumpiness might have had something to do with my gigantic MagLite jostling the horn as he walked up, or, that the spot was apparently directly in the middle of that evening's speed trap. Oh well.
I've got a picture of 200,003 from a gas station at the next exit (from whence I write this), which I shall post upon arrival.
