Firstly 8x06...
I didn't feel like writing one last week, don't know why. It was a good episode. Garth was excellent as always, decent storyline with a good old fashioned SPN case. Over all solid episode that I enjoyed.

Now 8x07... OMG THAT WAS PRETTY WELL THE MOST BEAUTIFULEST THING I'VE EVER, EVER, EVER SEEN ON TELEVISION. IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL I'M GONNA SWEAR! IT WAS FANFUCKINGTASTIC!!!!
Hands down my favourite episode of Supernatural ever. It was just a masterful piece of storytelling. I was classic, it was smart, it was on point, it had Misha fucking Collins, it had emotions and talking about feelings. It had an EXPLANATION! Do you understand how much we have lacked those the last two years until the utter last minute? It had freaking heart, Man. You don't understand how much I missed all these things.
Also, the Destiel, Dear Chuck (and a flipping Chuck shout-out which essentially confirmed he was God!) it was the absolute right amount the Dean/Castiel-Jensen/Misha interactions were masterful both in how they were written and how they were portrayed.
And Jensen, Jensen, Jensen, Jensen what he made Dean's face do and his voice when he was telling Sam about how he thought he seen Castiel... God, how can you not understand how frickin' in love he is with Cas?
Also, I am absolutely loving the direction they seem to be taking Castiel's character, it really, really lets Misha shine and straddle that knife's edge of Human-Alien that he is so utterly brillant at when it comes to Castiel's portrayal. Here was have, yet another damn character from Misha-Fucking-Collins, ladies and gents, another facet of Castiel - Post-Purgatory Castiel. God you have no idea how much I missed that man.
And the entire Naomi thing? I'm not even mad. I think it is an excellent plot device and we still see how much Castiel cares about Sam and Dean, he is forced to betray his friends again by a higher power but he will fight it with everything he has. Also, perhaps we have our catalyst for making Castiel human? If they are running towards 2014 then it's inevitable (hopefully without the orgies and drug use/abuse). Perhaps we'll have Misha as regular cast once again for season nine and ten *fingers crossed*
This episode was stellar. Incredibly, brilliant - Perfect.
God bless this flipping episode! God-frigging-bless.
